The OSRAM DMX Wi-Fi Controller application offers a robust implementation of the DMX protocol via ArtNet II UDP unicast mode specifically designed for iOS devices. This app allows users to manage up to 512 devices across a single universe, providing significant control capabilities.
It is important to note that this application is not compatible with Lightify products.
To establish control, users must first connect their iPhone to the Wi-Fi network to which the DMX devices are connected. The following process outlines the app's functionality:
- The application automatically detects available IP addresses, allowing users to select ports for their DMX/Ethernet converter, akin to devices such as the ENTTEC ODE.
- Channel levels can be adjusted using intuitive sliders or by entering values directly through the keypad.
- The sliders operate in real-time, meaning any adjustments made will be reflected immediately. Alternatively, users can set the app so modifications require confirmation via a key press before applying changes to all channels simultaneously.
- All user configurations and settings are retained by the app, ensuring a seamless experience during repeated use.
- A Help/About screen is readily available within the app for user assistance.
